Level 6 Diploma in Counselling Supervision (TCSU-L6)

 

This course is designed to take you to the next level of professional practice.  You will spend time exploring the roles and purpose of supervision and whilst in training you will supervise your own supervisees. The supervisory relationship will be explored and you will understand how to practice supervision with an awareness of the power balance inherent in the profession. Your training will prepare you to work as a supervisor in a range of settings, including private practice, and equip you with the techniques and skills required to be a successful supervisor. As with all Heartwood courses this training is delivered in a creative and experiential way giving each student individual support to  embrace all aspects of the training. (credit value - 18)


Entry Requirements

  • You will need to have completed a Level 5 Diploma in  Psychotherapeutic Counselling and completed one years post qualifying experience. OR completed a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and two years post qualifying experience.
    • An interview with one or more of the course tutors may be required in some cases.
