Understanding Abusive Relationships

Tutor: Amanda Sheriff

In the morning session we will be using exercises to look at abusive relationships from the victim, the perpetrator and the child’s perspectives. This will help us experience the dynamics of abusive relationships and the impact this can have on children involved.

The afternoon session will seek to develop our understanding of the power and control balance within unhealthy relationships and give you tools to assist clients presenting with violent or abusive relationships.
